capturing your child as they begin to grow up
Running, climbing, playing, relaxing at home – life is pretty exciting when you are between 1 & 5 years old. I aim to capture the joy and intensity of small children when I photograph them.
Your photo session will begin in at home. I’ll take pictures of your child playing and interacting with the family in their own environment. Then, we’ll go to a park or playground or jungle gym.
I like to photograph the interactions between the family members, as well as the child on their own. You can have photos of each child, the children together, the children with you and the whole family in a group.
I don’t pose children because it makes children anxious. Instead, I use a long lens and behave like a family friend so they feel relaxed. That way, I can respond to what your child is doing.
My own daughter is five now so I understand small children well. I can suggest ways to capture your child’s attention and keep them engaged.

Bespoke photos
Your photo session will be shaped entirely around your needs. I can take a family portrait or create a photo story of your child’s life. You can choose to have your pictures as framed prints, photo albums or wall art.
